Graduate Nurse Residency Program The Graduate Nurse Residency Program at ECHRS was designed to support new grads transition from an academic nursing program to actual practice, prior to setting for the NCLEX.
Our paid 6 Week on the job learning program is the foundation for developing a meaningful career in the nursing profession at a highly rated skilled nursing facility.
We provide innovative training that focuses on resident/patient outcomes, leadership, and your professional role.

Our structured program includes classroom instruction, clinical lab and simulation activities, a precepted clinical experience and mentorship, and ongoing online learning.
You'll have many opportunities to put your knowledge into practice.

With that in mind, we offer caring, evidence-based preceptor, mentor and leadership support as you transition to your professional nursing position.
6 Weeks @ $25 per hour to learn and grow:

Eligibility criteria for nurse residents Candidates are required to either be in the last semester and/or have graduated from their nursing program.
If in the last semester, must provide documentation that you are in good standing and on track to graduate.
Candidates should have had previous paid experience (CNA, MA, PCT, EMT, etc.
) Continued employment is contingent upon passing NCLEX and obtaining a Michigan licensed practical or registered nurse license, at which time the candidate is guaranteed a nursing position within the organization.
