Production Operator
CNI Plastics, fast growing Tier1/Tier2 automotive supplier, is looking to add individuals to its manufacturing team. These positions are full-time with benefits and vacation. Hourly rates range from $8.25 to $8.55 an hour.
Responsible for running any assembly or molding machine. The Operator is to adhere to strict quality and manufacturing procedures. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and disabilities to perform the essential functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND
Responsibilities:
These are duties that the person holding this job MUST be able to perform.
o Perform part inspections.
o Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled, including partial totes, suspect parts totes.
o Ensure production activities are recorded accurately, which includes production quantities scrap, and downtime by reason code/occurrence
o In special cases provide relief for breaks in assigned area as needed
o Ensure work cell is complete with necessary tools including components to minimize downtime
o Maintain a clean and organized work area through the effective delegation and execution of daily housekeeping tasks. Pick up parts from the floor, keep presses cleaned off, and follow all safety standards and procedures
o Perform all functions following plant safety procedures and housekeeping rules
o Perform other duties, as assigned by Production Supervisor.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency and basic math skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
