Business Unit Financial Analyst - (LS11438)

SUMMARY:
The Business Unit Analyst will support the Specialty Vehicles President for assigned projects, including strategic research insights, KPI consolidation and reporting, market share calculation, specific financial analysis, monthly and BOD Powerpoint development, Bill of Material and margin analysis, and administrative support to which includes, travel planning, calendar organization, data storage and retrieval, and presentation preparation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop charts, graphs and tables in Excel and Power Point; build a story from the data, crafting a powerful presentation that delivers the results and analysis of the research in a visual manner that can be presented to Executives and Board Members
Run data queries
Financial analysis and product margins, material cost, cost reduction and new business opportunities
Provide industry information and data available through public forums
Conduct monthly market share trading and trend analysis
Perform applicable market research for information, industry trends, and events
Coordinate and manage dealer salesperson incentive program
Review relevant industry information and provide pertinent information to President
Provide support on marketing and/or sales programs, as assigned
Coordinate business unit staff meetings including developing an agenda, preparing / coordinating the applicable content, reviewing information presented, and following-up on action items
Manage the Business Unit President?s calendar including managing and resolving scheduling conflicts and providing required material ahead of scheduled meetings
Maintain business action register and follow-up with responsible stakeholders for key meetings
Support the Specialty Vehicles team, as directed, through the preparation and organization of meetings and presentations
Prepare and consolidate materials for Board of Directors meetings, Leadership Team events, and other gatherings, as assigned
Organize meetings
o Exercise judgment and discretion in the handling of requests for appointments and/or calls
o Use Outlook to coordinate and schedule meetings, as deemed necessary by the executive:
? Reserve meeting space and attendees time
? Provide a meeting objective and agenda, when possible
? Ensure all attendees are informed of any scheduling changes
? Provide action item lists and meeting summaries, as necessary
o Supply and set up audio-visual equipment and other essentials for meetings
Use excellent written and oral communication skills, in a professional manner, throughout all levels of the organization and when interacting with visitors, customers, suppliers, etcetera.
Create and/or proofread documents, such as letters, memos, and emails
Coordinate all travel arrangements for the executive, including air, ground and hotel arrangements. If the travel arrangements being made are international, preparations for the executive?s phone and laptop, research for visa / travel requirements, and applications for essential documents will need to be managed
Prepare the necessary expense reports upon completion of the trips, in alignment with company travel policies
Create presentations for a wide variety of audiences: all associates, Board of Directors, visitors, direct reports, and more. Organize and utilize creative abilities to develop professional presentations from outline material
Work with other administrative personnel to implement lean thinking into the administrative aspect of our business
Other duties
o Lead out, or assist, on projects as needed
o Process appropriate invoices
o Reconcile the department?s credit card statement
o Maintain appropriate subscriptions (as determined by the executive)
o Sort mail
o Create and maintain project sites and other information databases used by the executive
Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Media required
Minimum of three years professional experience in market research or similar related field
Contribute to the Specialty Vehicles business unit success by effectively coordinating with other members of the team
Assist the team in increasing customer loyalty by delivering quality and timely services and products
Must be willing to maintain confidentiality under varying circumstances
Able to work in a highly organized manner with the proven and consistent capability of meeting tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
Able to communicate clearly and effectively and exercise good judgment
Power user on Microsoft office applications ? High degree of skill with Microsoft PowerPoint including graphs, pictures and audio/video content
Business Understanding / Acumen
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written especially in regards to creating impactful and insightful research presentations
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities while delivering solid results with the appropriate level of urgency at all times
Articulate, energetic, creative and positive
Acute attention to detail
Strong reading comprehension and grammar skills
Comfortable working with minimal direction, on occasion

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
