The Administrative Support position provides administrative support to Charlotte programs. The position duties include; greeting and directing guest via phone and in person, security partner, data entry, file management, electronic file management and scanning, and other essential administrative support duties as assigned. This position also provides training and vocational service support to team members in the area of customer service and administrative support.


  • Greet and direct guests, answer phones and direct callers
  • Administrative support duties to include: HRIS System knowledge, Peckham TV submissions and other data entry, file audit and management, intake/orientation paperwork, general typing, filing, class sign up/advertising, ordering and organization of office supplies, document scanning, wage histories, and other administrative support duties as assigned
  • Security partner to include: printing and assignment of badges, building door access assignments, maintenance and assignment of keys (building, locker, workspace, etc.) to include Charlotte vendors, locker assignments, participant on building security team
  • Efficiently manage and have a good working knowledge of computer files using Microsoft programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, Publisher, Outlook, SharePoint, and other office programs)
  • Provide intensive one-on-one job training assistance to clients in competencies related to customer service and administrative support.


  • Vocational rehabilitation partner to include case notes, progress reviews, and engagement in client continuous improvement plan goals
  • Maintain critical records relating to service department (CARF, DOL, HUD, SourceAmerica, Residential Services-LARA, CMH, Pines Behavioral Health/others )
  • Administrative support back-up duties to include; time sheets/payroll, pack reports, shipping, charting, scrap reports, inventory, caf .
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of special events.
  • Promote Peckham s vision, value, culture, and commitment to excellent customer services to all team members, staff, customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


This job supervises up to 4 team members.


  • High School Diploma or GED
    • Or 3-6 months (equal amount of) of experience
  • Must pass and maintain a successful background check

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
